Temporary Helpline Closure – 16th-19th March 2026

The Advice & Advocacy Service is pausing new referrals for one week (between 16th-19th March 2026). This is to allow the team to carry out some service redevelopment and to focus on our existing cases.

This means that the GCP Advice & Advocacy helpline will be closed all week and we will not be able to accept any referrals via email.

If you or anyone you know needs help while we are closed, please call;

Scottish Refugee Council on 0808 1967 274 or British Red Cross on 07590 445367 (available Monday/Tuesday/Thursday).

If you/or someone you are working with is already known to us and you have a query during the week, you should receive a response from the team by emailing adviceteam@govancommunityproject.org.uk

The helpline will reopen on Monday 23rd March 2026 at 10am. The helpline number will still be 0800 310 0054. The helpline will run at the same opening times between 10am and 1pm Monday to Thursday.
